Meteorite impact crater 23 km (14 mi) in diameter. The crater rim has a diameter of approximately 16 km.
The crater was formed 31-32 million years ago during the Early Oligocene.

Known for hexagonal crystals of vanadium silicide (VSi2) as inclusions in moissanite.
