AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370: 100+ Benchmarks Validate Zen 5's Captivating Power Efficiency & Performance
For the multi-threaded 7-Zip benchmark the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 with its mix of Zen 5 and Zen 5C cores was around 11% faster than the Ryzen 7 7840HS and 30% faster than the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H Meteor Lake processor. And still consuming less power!
In the case of the Blender 3D modeling software on the CPU, the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 was slightly behind the Ryzen 7 7840HS with its eight big cores, but the HX 370 was only pulling 27 Watts on average with a peak of 33 Watts compared to the Ryzen 7 7840HS pulling 55 Watts and a peak of 60 Watts.... The Ryzen 7 7840HS had nearly double the power while having roughly the same performance as this new Ryzen AI Zen 5 laptop processor.
"The Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 was looking very good for power efficiency and making me excited for the entire Zen 5(C) product lineup ahead.
With the proprietary V-RAY renderer software, the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 was the fastest and delivering the best power efficiency by far!
With Intel's OSPRay ray-tracing engine the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 was also leading in both raw performance and performance-per-Watt.
