AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370: 100+ Benchmarks Validate Zen 5's Captivating Power Efficiency & Performance
With the QuantLib quantitative finance software, the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 in the default balanced mode leaped ahead of the other laptops with the leading power efficiency.
With Altair's OpenRadioss software for stressing the laptops, the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 was delivering the fastest results by far and doing so at much less power than the likes of the Ryzen 7 7840HS and the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H.
In some benchmarks like libxsmm for specialized dense and sparse matrix operations and deep learning primitives where Intel CPUs have performed well, the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 leaped ahead in raw performance and power efficiency over Meteor Lake.
For those really pushing their laptops with HPC-like workloads for whatever reason or for when these SoCs appear within thin clients and other embedded hardware, the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 was delivering some very satisfying results while delivering a nice boost to power efficiency.
The power efficiency of Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 was quite exciting and making me all the more eager for testing the future Zen 5 desktop and server processors.
