With the new Acer system firmware and latest Ubuntu X1E Concept ISO, the performance of the X Elite on Linux is much more competitive now than back in May when I originally carried out my first X1E Linux tests. It's too bad though the X Elite laptops now are already a year old.
In some of the OpenJDK Java workloads the X1 Elite performed quite poorly compared to the AMD and Intel laptops.
