The new Ubuntu X1E ISO and Acer system firmware did allow the X Elite to perform with the best AMD Ryzen AI 300 series hardware for the Darktable RAW photography software.
Though for the more demanding RawTherapee RAW photo software its performance was between old AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 6850U and Core i7 1280P Alder Lake laptops.
For OpenSCAD as an open-source CAD modeler, the X Elite performance was just a mid-range contender of the tested laptops.
For GNU Octave as a free software MATLAB alternative, the X Elite performed behind the AMD Ryzen AI 300 series powered by Zen 5 cores.
