Esta página enumera las estructuras en Minecraft. Una estructura se define como lo que se desactiva cuando la opción de creación de mundos "Generar estructuras" está apagada. Las características, como las salas de monstruos y las fuentes del desierto, todavía se generan con esta opción apagada; sin embargo, se enumeran en esta página en § Características similares a estructuras debido a que tienen la apariencia de una estructura artificial en lugar de una formación natural.
El mundo superior contiene numerosas estructuras generadas, en una gran variedad de escalas.
Estas estructuras solo pueden generarse bajo tierra en los mundos predeterminados de la Superficie en la versión original de Minecraft.

Un portal del Nether incompleto construido con varios tipos de piedra o materiales de piedra negra cuando se generan en la Superficie o el Nether respectivamente. Pueden generar en tamaños y posiciones variables. Una plataforma de netherrack debajo, así como un cofre con recompensas y algunos bloques de oro, a menudo se generan. |
Ten en cuenta que las ruinas oceánicas y los naufragios a veces se generan sobre el agua en las costas, y los icebergs están parcialmente por encima y por debajo del agua.
El Nether, aunque igual de vasto, contiene muchas menos estructuras generadas que la Superficie.
El End es la dimensión final y más árida, sin estructuras generadas en su isla principal. Después de derrotar al Enderdragón, se crean nexos a las islas periféricas.

Torres extensas y bien conectadas construidas con purpur, ladrillos de piedra del End y cristal tintado de morado. Están habitadas por shulkers que guardan cofres con recompensas valiosas, y las ciudades más grandes y sinuosas pueden generar un barco del End que contiene un par de élitros. |
Estas características de generación de mundos tienen similitudes con las estructuras pero no son estructuras verdaderas. En cambio, están codificadas y generadas de la misma forma que los árboles o las menas. Por eso se generan incluso cuando la opción de mundo "Generar estructuras" está desactivada, y tampoco se pueden localizar con el comando /locate.
Las estructuras se generan para un chunk dado después de que se haya formado el terreno. El formato de chunk incluye una etiqueta llamada TerrainPopulated que indica si se han generado estructuras cuyo "punto de origen" está en ese chunk. Si es falso o falta, se genera de nuevo. La generación de estructuras se basa en lo que ya hay en el chunk, así que (por ejemplo) marcar un chunk que ya ha sido poblado para repoblación duplica aproximadamente la cantidad de menas en él. Cuando se generan las estructuras, pueden desbordarse a los chunks vecinos que se han generado previamente.
La siguiente tabla muestra los ID de las características de estructura configuradas en Java Edition y los ID de las características de estructura en Bedrock Edition. Estos ID se pueden usar en el comando /locate.
