The Builder Cape is a cape that is given out as a promotion for TwitchCon 2026 and the Minecraft Movie Build Challenge.

The cape's design is similar to the Crafter Cape, which depicts an iron pickaxe on a crafting table background, but the pickaxe is shown upside-down.

Players can receive this cape by redeeming a code, which can be obtained by participating on one of these two platforms:

• Watch any livestream on Twitch for 5 minutes.
• Watch any livestream on TikTok for 3 minutes.

This can be done between May 30 and June 14 (later June 22nd), 2026. All codes for this cape must be redeemed by June 30, 2026.^[1]

This task cannot be completed normally in regions where the streaming platforms or their rewards programs are unavailable. Players in these regions can obtain the cape by using a proxy/VPN, traveling to regions where they are available, or receiving a code from another player.

• The cape's design resembles the teaser poster for A Minecraft Movie Squared.
• Aside from the cape's name, further connections to the build challenge include the fact that the cape was also featured in the build challenge's key art, and that the cape's distribution method was revealed in the article that introduced the build challenge.^[1] However, participation in the challenge was not actually required to obtain the cape.
• After Minecraft Live, various players had trouble claiming the cape through Twitch due to technical reasons.^[5]
