There are many elements in Minecraft that are completely inaccessible to the player in vanilla Survival mode. This is due to many factors, such as game balance, or due to the fact that the player accessing certain content would not have any logical sense in the context of playing Survival mode, such as barrier blocks and spawn eggs.
The article encompasses all things unavailable to the player in Survival. Note that many - if not all - of the listed content can still be obtained in Creative mode, with the use of commands, or mods. Also note that most of these blocks can be obtained in item form in Survival mode through various bugs and glitches, such as Falling Block Transmutation (also known as Gravity Block Conversion), or via specific Minecraft versions, such as the Java Edition 22w13oneBlockAtATime April Fools' Day snapshot.
Blocks, items, and entities exclusive to Minecraft Education or Bedrock Edition with "Minecraft Education features" enabled are not included in this list.
