Equipped gear in the inventory

An item is an object that a hero can collect. Items come in the form of artifacts, weapons, armor, talismans, consumables, and collectibles. Some items can also be wielded by mobs, though don't drop upon death.

Pieces of gear are items that can be equipped in a melee, ranged, armor, artifact, or talisman slot in the inventory. Each comes with a power level that contributes to the hero's overall gear power as well as a rarity.
