Souls are a resource collected from dead mobs used as fuel to activate artifacts.

Obtaining

Upon defeating a mob, every hero who dealt damage to it gains one soul. Sculk mobs, including the warden and Twisted Warden, give one soul each time a hero hits them. The Twisted Warden additionally gives a much higher quantity of souls upon its defeat.

Usage

Souls are used to power artifacts. Each artifact expends a different quantity of souls, and cannot be used when the soul meter is below its minimum requirement.
