The Mushroom Safe House,[1] also called the mushroom tower[2] or mushroom hut is a location appearing in A Minecraft Movie, built by Dawn and Natalie. The novelization goes into more detail about its creation.
The hut resembles a huge mushroom, but with a wooden door and two pots at the entrance, lanterns dangling from the mushroom's edges, and windows on the top. The interior of the hut has a ladder in the main entrance leading up to the main room. Inside, the windows can be seen on each side, and several more lanterns are dangling from the ceiling. There are a few beds, some chests, a blast furnace, and some wooden tables.
The blast furnace and the two uniquely designed wooden tables combine together to act as one large table. Dawn can be seen leaning on the table, which has pumpkins, sliced bread, and other miscellaneous items on it.
After Dawn tamed Dennis, he led her and Natalie to the dark forest, tracking Steve's scent. They ended up in a field close to the woodland mansion. Dawn quickly converted one of the "big mushrooms into a time-share tree house".[3]
After Steve and Henry escaped Malgosha's ambush outside the woodland mansion, the ghast they rode on crash landed into some trees. This knocked both of them unconscious. Later, when Steve woke up to Dennis licking his face, he found himself in the house with Dawn and Natalie. Dawn revealed that Dennis led them to Steve's location. Steve, wondering where they are, ran out of the house, and realized that it is actually a house created from a huge mushroom. Steve wished that Garrett was there, commenting that he would have loved the house.
Shortly after Malgosha triggered the Great Darkening, the group gathered inside the mushroom house, devising a plan to defeat Malgosha by retrieving the Orb of Dominance. After hyping each other up, they left to carry out their plan. The mushroom house is not seen again after this.
MUSHROOM SAFE HOUSE — As night falls and danger creeps in, Natalie and Dawn cleverly transform a giant mushroom into a secure safe house. Using quick thinking and teamwork, they craft a clever hideout to survive the oncoming wave of zombies and skeletons.
