Natalie is one of the main protagonists of A Minecraft Movie, played by Emma Myers. She is a part of the gang of misfits and the older sister and parental guardian of Henry, originating from Earth. She is also the fourth human to enter the Overworld, after Garrett Garrison and just before Dawn Runcie.

Natalie is a young woman with light skin, brown hair in a bob cut, blue eyes and bright pink lipstick. When entering the Overworld and during her time there, she is wearing a blue cardigan, a dark green skirt, black Chuck Taylor All-Stars shoes, and a black t-shirt with a striped yellow circle on her chest.

In the wake of her mother's death, Natalie has been forced into the role of a motherly figure, keeping a very close eye on Henry and supporting him financially. As a result the two are very close, Natalie doing everything she can to help him settle into Chuglass, even if not everything works. She is very committed to her duties, both as a parental guardian and as a businesswoman.

Although she loves Henry from the bottom of her heart, taking care of him as much as possible, she is still not satisfied with the heavy burden of adulthood. She wants to go back to her childhood, because at that time she seemed to be able to do anything. But the real world is very unfriendly to the spirit of creativity, so she can only hide this idea, and try to be a "normal person". In order to also let Henry can live a normal life in this unfriendly and boring world, she doesn't want Henry to show his creativity too much, but she doesn't think creativity was rubbish. However, Her description of the real world convinces Henry that he can only live in this blocky world.

Upon becoming trapped in the Overworld, she is shown to be the most shocked at its alien nature, confused by blocks and terrified by an iron golem. With time she begins to make the most of the situation, becoming more adventurous and accepting her brother as a brave innovator, allowing him to show his creativity.

Finally, she decides not to be boring and shares her skills she learned in the overworld with others.

Although initially unassuming and unprepared for the wilderness, Natalie becomes a very formidable heroine. Often wielding either a hoe or diamond sword, she is unnaturally skilled at fighting, easily overpowering several different opponents. Where she once struggled to survive her first night, she managed to effortlessly humiliate and casually walk away from a zombie.

Following the death of her mother, she and her brother were forced to move to Chuglass, Idaho. Despite the grimness of the situation, she tried to remain positive, befriending Dawn and eagerly applying to work at Chuglass Potato Chips. However, during her presentation, Henry's jetpack collides with the statue of Chuggy the Chip, destroying it.

Immediately upon meeting, Dawn and Natalie get along very well, chatting about their respective situations. Upon returning from her disastrous day at work, she goes to Dawn to vent, and lets her tag along when she realizes Henry has mysteriously vanished. While in the Overworld, the two become a formidable duo, going on their own adventure and mastering several forms of combat.

Natalie does not get a good first impression of both Steve and Garrett Garrison, however she harbors a deeper contempt for Garrett. Although never directly disliking him, she lacks any knowledge of who he is and remains unimpressed with his accomplishments throughout the film. Even when preparing to return home, she mocks his gringoisms.
