The existence of this page is very confusing. Why do we need two different pages for Infdev? Minecraft Infdev and Java Edition Infdev are basically the same thing, so ideally these two pages should be merged. BlueStaggo (talk) 14:06, 19 July 2024 (UTC)
- Minecraft Infdev is the version name, Java Edition Infdev is the development cycle TreeIsLife (talk) 14:12, 19 July 2024 (UTC)
- Ok, but Infdev is both and Infdev was only on the Java Edition. If Infdev means Java Edition then surely it's safe to ditch one of the prefixes (preferrably the one that came later). I don't see how anyone can make up that definition other than the confusing definition hinted at on this wiki. Infdev is still Infdev, and it's both a set of versions and a development cycle. I don't see why we shouldn't have one page describing Infdev as both considering how they're basically the same thing. BlueStaggo (talk) 00:24, 26 July 2024 (UTC)
- Yeah, I agree. -~- Nerdyguy2000 talk edits 01:36, 26 July 2024 (UTC)
- So my request for merging has been removed. I don't get it? The reason given is exactly the same as why I want the pages to be merged. How is Minecraft Infdev supposed to mean anything different than Java Edition Infdev? They're both phases and they're both versions. Can't we have a better way to differentiate them? - They're REFERRED to as "Infdev", just not the SAME "Infdev". 49.146.32.121 08:36, 28 December 2025 (UTC)
