It has been long time. It just works flawlessly. Very comfortable. Light weight. I recommend it. I bought it went my hand was hurting on the use and it worked like a charm.

I had an accident several years back which left me with torn ligament (tfcc) so using a normal mouse would cause pain in my arm. I have been using a logitech mx vertical mouse working from home. I got a new job and wanted one for the office so have been trying out other verical mice since there are so many more in the market now. I have fairly large hands and this mouse feels ever so slightly small and my pinky kinda drags on the mousepad. It is less vertical than the logitech mouse which might good for people transitioning from a normal mouse but the angle wasn't sufficient for me and there was still some pain in my wrist from prolonged use. The design of it also feels like you're pinching the mouse a bit more instead of naturally letting your hand sit on it. I do love the buttons on this though! I guess you'd expect that from cherry that makes mechanical switches. It's a pretty good mouse overall, just not the mouse for me.

I bought my first Cherry MW4500 in November 2023, and I've been using it every day for work and general browsing on my computer. I edit documents and webpages, so I do A LOT of clicking to the point where I would say it's heavy duty kind of clicking. Of course it may be nothing like gaming by comparison, but still, it's no light clicking tasks either. It does not feel like a premium mouse, made of normal cheap but durable plastic material, and it does not have any fancy features like an LCD screen to tell me how much battery life it's got left. It runs on 2 x AAA batteries, and when I see the red LED low battery indicator on the side of the mouse, I just replace the batteries and keep going. It's just a very reliable mouse. The clicks are loud, like any old-school mouse, and the scroll wheel is just rubbery and not weighted or nothing fancy like knurled metal, it's just a nice rubbery scroller.

Since I've used it for more than 2 years, I felt that I may need to replace it soon so I bought an AOC vertical mouse, the one that is rechargeable, USB-C port, with BT5.4 connectivity, fancy RGB lighting, soft silent clicking, with 4 times higher DPI and even programmable buttons, but guess what, I revert back to my old mouse because I don't need all those features for work, so I just use the other mouse for my personal laptop.

I placed another order for Cherry MW4500, and have it as a spare when the one that I am using now, which I bought about 2.5 years ago goes kaput on me.

I think it's safe to say that I like my Cherry MW4500, and if they make an upgraded version of this mouse, with similar dimensions but with some added features, I think I will get it and try it out too. But, please do not stop making MW4500. :)

Great quality. This has helped so much with my wrist pain!

I love this mouse. I have used it for a year and a half and any tingling in my wrist has long since vanished. It has a great weight (Logitech's mice like these are way too light) and angle. The buttons are in perfect places for my hands. It doesn't eat up batteries. But now, the mouse wheel is wigging out. It fights me while scrolling so that the content "wiggles" up and down while rolling the wheel. I thought it was something I was doing, but another mouse scrolls without this wiggling. I bought it for $22, which is pretty cheap, but not for a "disposable" mouse. I hope they come out with an updated version with a mouse wheel with more longevity. Until then, I need to find another vertical mouse.

I'm on my second of this particular mouse. The first was purchased for a song at a bargain outlet. I used it and was very pleased with it from the beginning. The hand position is comfortably natural. The scroll wheel has smooth action. The buttons have a satifying click. Tracking is fast and accurate. Everything just works, really well.

At the beginning of the year, my company moved office buildings, and this mouse got broken in the move. (Not many mice are designed to withstand being run over by a car.) I tried several other mice both vertical and regular style before I eventually just bought a replacement of this one. Should have done it much sooner. This beats out all the others I've tried

Mouse was ok until the scroll wheel began to slip after 3 months. Grip is good for hands (mine are not too big) and posture is as good as mx vertical. Buttons are all responsive with no issues. But the scrolling issue is quite frustrating due to its unresponsiveness and randomness.

I have been using this mouse for a couple of months and the quality is great. I don't think I'll ever go back to a "flat" mouse. The hand position is much more natural and I don't feel the strain in my wrist anymore after long work sessions. I'm glad I gave this mouse a shot, since my work involves long hours on the computer. I definitely feel wise for making the switch to this mouse, and I'm spreading the word to friends and family when the topic arises. Definitely worth it.

Ich habe die Cherry MW 4500 ursprünglich für mich selbst gekauft – und war so zufrieden, dass ich direkt eine zweite für meine Frau bestellt habe. Die vertikale, ergonomische Form ist wirklich angenehm und entlastet das Handgelenk spürbar, vor allem bei längerer Nutzung.

Die kabellose Verbindung über 2,4 GHz funktioniert einwandfrei und ohne spürbare Verzögerung. Besonders praktisch ist die einstellbare Auflösung (bis zu 1200 dpi), je nachdem, ob man gerade präzise oder schnelle Bewegungen braucht. Die Batterielaufzeit ist super, und die Maus wirkt insgesamt sehr hochwertig verarbeitet.

Klare Kaufempfehlung für alle, die eine bequeme und durchdachte Maus suchen – bei mir hat sie es gleich zweimal in den Haushalt geschafft!

Jag har haft den här musen i drugt ett halvår nu och jag har gillat upplevelsen. Nu har dock scrollhjulet börjat ge upp och scrollar ibland i motsatt riktning (scrollar man på en lång sida så hoppar innehållet upp och ner). Använder man scrollhjulet mycket så rekommenderar jag den inte.
