If you only intend to record a podcast or make a video call, it is usually sufficient to simply place the microphone on your desk. However, if you are dealing with situations where you need to use the keyboard and/or mouse at the same time as speaking, it is important to have enough space to move. In situations like these, the CHERRY MA 3.0 UNI microphone holder is a good choice.

Thanks to its sturdy aluminum swivel arm, the angle of the microphone arm can be freely adjusted, and the microphone can thus be optimally positioned. The classic black design of the arm and the high quality workmanship complete the package.

And the microphone arm is not called “UNI” for nothing not only does it support the microphones of the CHERRY UM MICROPHONE SERIES, but also a variety of USB microphones and is therefore universal. The CHERRY MA 3.0 UNI has both a 3/8" threaded connector and 5/8” adapter included. With a net weight of 1,294 g, it is capable of carrying microphones weighing up to 1.5 kg. In addition, there is a practical cable slot in which both standard XLR and USB cables can be easily hidden.

    Pretty much perfect
    It’s sturdy. It holds my Blue Yeti + shock mount/pop filter very well. It’s flexible. I didn’t want an arm that I’d have to adjust the knobs every time to move it. This mic has good springs & tension knobs to keep it stable in pretty much any position without the need to turn the knobs It looks good. It has a unique style & there’s no ugly branding on it either. The materials also look pretty high quality. The only complaint I have is the lack of information. They didn’t provide details on the length of the arms so I was concerned it would be too short while waiting for it arrive. The bottom arm is 17” & the top arm is 15” They also didn’t provide information on how to open the cable hiding slots. It’s a bit deceiving because the cable hiders look metal & like they’d break easily. Thry’re actually just flexible plastic and you can remove it by jamming a screwdriver & popping it up.

      Going from an external spring arm to this has been great, I can hide it behind my monitor with my mic pointing down. Only have 4 stars because the arm rotates slightly with vibrations from the desk. I had to add a small piece of tape to the base to keep this from happening. Luckily I don’t move the arm at all.

      Works perfect for one of those mobile monitors. Put a MagSafe magnet on the back of the monitor and a MagSafe attachment and there you go.
