A comedy anime is laced with humour and sets out to provoke laughter from the audience. A fictional world can just as well have an alternative reality, it doesn`t need to be our reality. Multiple timelines of the same world/universe/reality are NOT considered parallel worlds., science fictionScience fiction stories usually focus on how situations could be different in the future when we are more technologically advanced; due to either our own achievements or having met with other civilizations whom we have learned from., shounenIn the context of manga and associated media, shounen, literally meaning "youth" and often also specifically "boy", refers to a male audience roughly between the ages of 10 and 18., super powerBe it an ancient Greek Heracles, a cybernetic muscle-man, or a fourteen year-old girl in a mini-skirted sailor suit. Blood Blockade Battlefront centers around the crime fighting organization "Libra" and their battles in Hellsalem's Lot, formerly known as New York City. More of the same from the previous season but lost its charm because of the change in director

Very episodic season, most of which is focused on characters who up until now got the short end of the stick screentime-wise. There's even less plot than the last season, but it's also much less hectic and as such a much smoother watch.

I enjoyed it more than the prequel, but it's very similar, just less chaotic and a little more grounded. Good for those who liked the first season, even better for those who maybe had their gripes with it.

And the fun continues.

Whereas the first season had a chaotic plot - which ran like a golden thread through most of the episodes - this season is kinda plotless. This is more a series of one-shots which focuses on the background stories of various characters. The last two eps do connect to the first season though since it's about the main siblings. I really enjoyed those and hope that there will be another continuation coming!

Animation and music are still superb. I really enjoy the mix of the action & comedy series with it's bluesy and swingy music.
