Since February 2022, Ukraine has received more than EUR 193 billion in assistance from the European Union and its member states, enabling the country to withstand the conditions of full-scale war, continue resisting Russian aggression, and at the same time advance along the path of reforms, Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko said.

Svyrydenko said that she had the honor of participating in an offsite informal meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council held in Kyiv, where she first and foremost thanked European partners for their support of Ukraine.

"For Ukraine, international support and the swift unblocking of EU financing are critically important. This is a matter of our defense planning and the countryโ€™s resilience in the face of military threats," Svyrydenko wrote in a Facebook post.

In addition, Ukraine is ready to share with partners its experience in maintaining the operation of the energy system under wartime conditions.

"We have already begun preparations for the next heating season and are restructuring the countryโ€™s energy system within the framework of regional resilience plans. The energy sector is an area where we must deepen cooperation with our European partners and jointly strengthen energy independence," she said.

The prime minister also noted that Ukraine is incorporating the final benchmarks (EU accession criteria) across all clusters into the National Program for the Adaptation of Legislation to EU law, which is expected to be adopted in the near future. According to her, work on implementing the necessary reforms is ongoing.
