Zelenskyy: Ukraine must make every day of February count to advance dignified end to war

Ukraine must finalize all issues related to providing the army, in addition, more activity is needed from everyone in Ukraine so that there is not a single empty day in February for the opportunity to strengthen the state and end the war with dignity, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said.

"There was a conversation with the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, with our diplomats, with the participants of the negotiating group. More activity is needed from everyone in our state so that there is not a single empty day in February for the opportunity to strengthen Ukraine and for our opportunity to end the war with dignity and reliability," Zelenskyy said in an evening address on Monday.

According to him, Ukraine must finalize all issues related to the provision of the army, in particular, this concerns the planned and sufficient supply of drones and other means to the troops.

The president announced significant international defense and security measures this week.

"In Europe, our position will be sufficiently represented and the same with America. In fact, every day now our negotiating group is working on those documents, on those proposals that can yield results at the next meetings," the head of state said.

He recalled that the documents on security guarantees are ready. "There is no alternative to peace for security, there is no alternative to the restoration of our state, there is no alternative," Zelenskyy said.
