President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that for him the information about the United States desire to conclude a peace agreement by July 4 is new.

"For me this is new information, although now the information is changing very quickly," Zelenskyy said during the summit "Ukraine – the States of Northern Europe and the Baltics."

The president said Ukraine has always supported quick decisions on ending the war.

"It does not say that the fast track is connected with the fact that we give up part of our territories," he said.

As reported, the United States wants to conclude an agreement on the settlement in Ukraine by July 4, Bloomberg reports with reference to European officials and NATO representatives.

"Allies say the US is pushing for a deal before Trump hosts the 250th anniversary celebrations of American independence on July 4. But there is no indication that Russian President Vladimir Putin is ready to reach an agreement that does not grant his central demands, according to senior European and NATO officials," Bloomberg said on Tuesday.
