10th Crusade

[edit]

Hello, It is in due time that the Tenth Crusade be added to this page.

Whilst my peers argue about when the Tenth Crusade started, it is agreed that is was solidified on December 9, 1917 when the British captured Jerusalem. Since then the Holy Land has been controlled by Western powers and solidified with the establishment of the State of Israel on the 14th May 1948. @Modernhistorian2026 i think this rather falls under Christian Zionism Braganza (talk) 18:32, 31 March 2026 (UTC)[]

Importance reassessment

[edit]

Earlier I tried to change the Importance from "Top" to "Mid" for the Christianity and Religion Wikiprojects. I did this because while the Crusades are a very important historical event they are not actually that important for understanding the religion itself. It's not as vital to understanding the topic as, say, the life of Jesus, the Reformation, or even Noah's Ark. At best I can see it being rated "High" but tbh that's pushing it. Shouldn't there be an info box of the parties involved?

[edit]

Like the one for napoleonic wars? ~2026-17339-51 (talk) 18:12, 19 March 2026 (UTC)[]

No - far, far too complicated. Johnbod (talk) 22:54, 19 March 2026 (UTC)[]

Crusades vs Crusading movement

[edit]

@Deeday-UK: Your edit leaves the relationship between these things rather unclear. Srnec (talk) 18:33, 2 May 2026 (UTC)[]
