Chains is a melee weapon enchantment that binds multiple mobs together for a short time.

Built-into

[edit | edit source]

Chains tier I is built-into the following weapons:

Stacking

[edit | edit source]

Chains is stackable, meaning it can appear in multiple enchantment slots on an item, although there are exceptions. If Chains is the built-in unique enchantment of an item it will never be able to appear in the gilded slot or other enchantment slots by any means. If Chains appears in the gilded slot of an item it will never appear in the other three enchantment slots, however by rerolling the item's enchantments using the enchantsmith, Chains has the chance to appear even if it appears in the gilded slot.

Usage

[edit | edit source]

Any melee weapon enchanted with Chains allows the hero to bind multiple mobs together. Although chained mobs may still attack heroes in close proximity, they are rooted in place for the duration of the effect. The duration of the effect increases with each tier, at the highest tier the effect lasts for three seconds.

Mobs cannot be enchanted with Chains.

Stacking

[edit | edit source]

When stacked, Chains has a multiplicative effect, meaning each extra Chains will have its effect duration multiplied by the last.
