Guarding Strike is an enchantment that can be found within the various melee weapons of Minecraft Dungeons.

Guarding Strike has a chance to appear in any enchantment slot on a melee weapon. Enchantments on items can be swapped out for Guarding Strike by rerolling them at the enchantsmith.

Mobs cannot be enchanted with Guarding Strike.

Guarding Strike is not stackable, meaning it will only ever appear in a single enchantment slot. This includes the gilded, unique, and regular enchantment slots.

Guarding strike grants the hero the ability to activate a status effect that creates a protective shield when defeating a mob, this shield reduces incoming damage by 50%. The duration of this effect increases with each tier, at the maximum tier the effect lasts for four seconds.
