There's no way the Tempest Golem was a Squall Golem when it was overcame with the Orb of Dominance! I think a Tempest Golem was the guardian of the sanctum before the Orb of Dominance, not some Squall Golem! Witherite Armor (talk) 19:13, 3 May 2021 (UTC)

In the story for the Gale Sanctum, it states that the Tempest Golem is the ancient protector of the sanctum, which means it existed before the shard's arrival. James Haydon (talk) 19:18, 3 May 2021 (UTC)

the orb does not become the heart of ender, the heart of ender forms around the orb, as evidenced by the orb being in the heart's mouth. i can't upload screenshots as far as i know, but if someone else can, that would be great. So I noticed that the Jungle Abomination is currently listed as a creation of the Orb, though it is described as being a rudimentary body for the shard in the jungle to inhabit. Hello again fellow editors! It has been quite a while since I last made a vocal presence. Recently today, as I was doing my usual wiki tidying, I have noticed that there have been demands for an image of a Shard of Dominance from the Hidden Depths DLC. I have thus removed the requirement from the to do list as the shard was never seen onscreen for the intro of Coral Rise. I thought nothing of it...but the topic was returned to the list several minutes later. I once again removed the demand from the list for the aforementioned reason, but again it was returned! I have spent almost an entire hour in the back and forth cycle and coming to my wits end! To whoever out there that reads this message, could you please help me? Now that the Orb of Dominance has appeared in Minecraft Legends, I think the page should be edited to include mentions of it. Unless the Piglin's Advisor had some other magic stone, in which case should the page state that it is not the Orb of Dominance as trivia or at least as a sort of disclaimer. I don't play this game, but it seems that the first triva entry saying it's a 5x5x5 cube the size of a mob head is a contradition. A mob head isn't even 1x1x1 size in terms of blocks. What are the units here? ~Anachronist (talk) 21:49, 12 May 2024 (UTC)

Mob heads are 0.5 x 0.5 x 0.5 blocks, or 8x8x8 pixels in the main game. I don't play Dungeons either, but watching a video of the game's cutscenes, I'd guess it's about the size of a flower pot or 6x6x6 pixels if I were forced to guess. But, unless someone has checked the game files for actual dimensions, these measurements might actually be speculation about the orb's size. All of the orb's measurements appear to have been added in a series of edits on 10 June 2020, by User:AwesomeNinja886. Unfortunately that user's last edit was in July of 2021, so we probably can't ask them where the measurements came from. Incidentally, the first edit that added the orb's size listed it as 6x6x6, but it was changed to 5x5x5 in a subsequent edit. Rampage455 (talk) 03:31, 19 January 2025 (UTC)

I'm thinking of changing the namespace for Orb of Dominance, because this artifact is no longer exclusive to MCD, this has already appeared in MCL, A Minecraft Movie, and even in regular minecraft as an item in the add-on. There can be another Orb of Dominance page in a different namespace. For instance, there is a page for Creepers in Minecraft, a page for Creepers in Minecraft Dungeons, a page for Creepers in Minecraft Earth, a page for Creepers in Minecraft: Story Mode, a page for Creepers in Minecraft Legends, and a page for Creepers in A Minecraft Movie. I don’t see the point in having a mainspace page, with how it looks right now it’s just a glorified disambiguation page without any unique information. If the main thing it’s supposed to cover is the add-on, then we’re still not supposed to make pages for individual items, and we should probably prioritize the actual add-on over making a million separate pages about it. We only really need three. One for Dungeons, one for Legends, and then the movie. It’s barely in Legends so it might not be worth giving it a page, it can just be explained on the Seer or Night Beacon pages, and it remains to be seen how prominent it is in the movie.
