Forum:Minecraft Earth shutdown banner

The Minecraft Earth shutdown banner is an intrusive part of the Earth wiki, showing on every article, relevant to its warning or not. My suggestion is for the mass removal of this notice on all articles, making it it into a one-time pop-up when visiting any page on the Earth namespace.

It is essentially bloat as you learned this information already from Minecraft.net or the countless YouTube videos like everyone else before visiting the wiki or after the first, the tenth, and fiftieth time of reading the banner.

The Story Mode wiki, while the game is still playable, also uses past tense for the game and yet it does not use such an obnoxious or any banner. If users want to find information about a certain topic, it should be a choice and not fed down the throat; already being summarised in Minecraft Earth § Shutdown and the wiki front.

When the shutdown was recent, it was useful to have the banner on all pages. However by now the banner is no longer useful on any pages besides Minecraft Earth. I think we should just completely remove the banner. -- 👁 Image

I do oppose having it on those 16 pages as it is already stated on the page where the icons are held. Maybe it could be more obvious though? 👁 Image

 Support making it more noticeable, because I didn't even see it. Perhaps it should be moved above the box of buttons, because I, a mobile-only user, almost never scroll below that box in any namespace, but I'm assuming that on desktop it's shown without scrolling, due to screen size 👁 Image

This has been implemented! The final discussions if a banner should remain on which articles. I think the banner should be kept on MCE as it follows what MCSM does on its page 👁 Image
