Ivor's potions, referred to in the game as either potion or elixir,[note 1] are items brewed by Ivor and kept in the hall's basement, with one of them, the fancy potion originally created to stop the wither storm, being replaced by Axel with Ivor's bad potion.[note 2]
Ivor created the fancy potion as a precaution for a worst-case scenario. However, it was stolen by Jesse or Axel, and Axel replaced it with a useless potion. Later, Ivor threw the ineffective potion at the wither storm, but it had no effect. Jesse then used the fancy potion in an attempt to stop the wither, but the mob managed to protect the command block in time.
The fancy potion was apparently supposed to destroy the command block or compromise its function.
