The Zombie Mines are a room in the Sunshine Institute.

The room is located in the Sunshine Institute. It is below the Mush Room but above Xara's maximum security room.

In Jailhouse Block, Jesse's party decide to try to enter the zombie mines as it is closer to Prisoner X, who they believe can help them escape the facility. Jesse got here after exposing a mooshroom's secret room, either as a promotion or a punishment.

Stella was found to be working here, and she explained that prisoners battled zombies and ate their flesh as food. She gave Jesse a lever to open the gate to Prisoner X. Stella was either unhappy or pleased at the end of the conversation, but gave the lever anyway.

Before Jesse could get to Prisoner X, the Admin teleported in and attempted to force Jesse and Petra/Jack to fight, but they tried to attack him instead. He also fired the warden and decided to impersonate Jesse. He left, and Jesse's group went into the cell of Prisoner X.

The floor has a checkerboard design, and the walls have pictures of swords and zombie related images.
