EnderCon is an annual town fair featuring a building competition and a marketplace. Its most recent event included an appearance by Gabriel the Warrior and marked the first sighting of the wither storm. The name of the town hosting the event is unconfirmed.
Petra, Jesse, and, depending on Jesse's choices, Reuben, arrived at EnderCon. If Jesse instructed Axel and Olivia to stay behind at the building competition to save their fireworks dispenser build, they would later see their creation featured as the winning entry. Alternatively, if Jesse chose to take their friends along after their build was set on fire, the rainbow beacon build of the Ocelots would be showcased instead.
After arriving, Petra and Jesse met Axel and Olivia for a brief discussion before heading to a dark alley to conduct a transaction with Ivor. The deal fell through when Ivor scammed Petra and fled. Jesse and Petra pursued him through the town, later regrouping with Axel and Olivia to assist in the chase. During this pursuit, Jesse mistakenly identified someone else as Ivor.
If Reuben was not accompanying Jesse when they entered EnderCon, Jesse would later find him at the butcher's shop. If Reuben was with Jesse, he would be captured by the butcher regardless of the prior path. In either case, Jesse would resolve the situation by bargaining or threatening the butcher to secure Reuben's release.
After spotting Ivor near the entrance to the hall, the group attempted to follow him but was stopped by an usher due to their lack of tickets. Noticing the usher's fear of chickens, the group decided to create a distraction. They collected slimeballs to craft a slime block, though the materials fell short until Lukas provided a final slimeball. Jesse used the completed slime block to reach and destroy a nearby chicken machine, causing chaos as chickens swarmed the usher. This allowed the group to enter the hall.
Once inside, the wither summoned by Ivor grew uncontrollably, causing widespread destruction. The group was forced to flee the hall and became separated. After regrouping with Gabriel at the marketplace, they escaped the town together.
The host town's buildings are constructed from various materials, including clay bricks, sandstone, and stone bricks, all featuring windows. The pavements are made of smooth stone, while the sidewalks are built with stone brick stairs and stone bricks.
Lampposts are composed of wooden fences topped with redstone lamps and daylight detectors. The town entrance features an archway made of bricks with wooden fences serving as gates.
Marketplace stalls are constructed from wooden planks and fences and are typically decorated with banners and paintings.
EnderCon's host town is a town where residents participate in various activities, including the EnderCon Building Competition, an event where individuals showcase their building skills. Beyond this, little is known about the town's culture, and there are no detailed descriptions of daily life or cultural traditions.
There is no detailed information available regarding the administration of EnderCon's host town. Its leadership structure is not shown, and it is unclear how decisions are made or who holds official authority.
The event is held every year. It consists of teams creating their builds. The winner's build gets featured at EnderCon and the team gets to visit Gabriel.

Axel: Thought you could just wiggle right out of that trap, didnβt you? Well -- Wiggle as much as you want -- youβre not goinβ anywhere.
Jesse: Axel, listen up-- any chance youβve seen a creepy-looking beard-y guy anywhere?
Axel: No, but Petra told me what happened -- Iβm keeping an eye out for him.
Axel: Itβs just this machine presses all my buttons -- unnecessarily complicated, and mean to birds for no reason. Itβs just, when something like this calls, you gotta answer. But I swear, as soon as the demonstration is over... Petra did make it sound kinda serious.
Otis: I might be amenable to some kind of trade... Not that you look like you got much of value. I gotta get some kind of return on my investment. Otherwise, itβs straight to the slaughterhouse for this one.
Lukas: Hey, uh, congrats on the win. I mean I still think think our beacon was aMaZing, but... you guys did a pretty good job, too. I mean I thought the whole monster theme was plenty cool, but -- fireworks, too? It was... sorta cool.
Jesse: Ohh...heeyyy...we meet again...hehe...he... One slime block, please
Ivy: We donβt give out slime blocks here. Just slime balls. But weβve got a limited supply today and weβre only giving out 2 per customer. You COULD craft your own slime block if you had 9 slime balls...
"EnderCon" is based on the real-life Minecraft convention, "MINECON," where people ask questions to the developers. It may also be based on the Official Minecon trailer by HAT Films.
EnderCon is featured as the main menu background for Minecraft: Story Mode Season 1.
A time-lapse of some EnderCon stalls being built is featured when the main menu first appears.
A Minecraftmap can be seen in the map booth. Seed for the world that this map was generated in was found by Minecraft@Home on October 1st, 2023. The seed is 2234065947811606375, compatible with Java Edition 1.8.9, and the exact same map can be created at X=-640, Z=256. However, it seems like the seed does not actually correlate with terrain of Story Mode.[1]
