"Sunflowers become glitched"

[edit source]

What the appearance for the glitched sunflower at X/Z 262,144? 184.22.111.162 09:22, 1 March 2020 (UTC)

I am not sure about this one, but I think the yellow parts of sunflowers flicker with the green stalks. The Blobs👁 Image

Levitation 255 and high Y coordinates

what Y coordinate makes it impossible to float with levitation 255. i know you can float past 67108864 with levitation 255 but i want to know what coordinate makes it impossible. if whoever finds out please put it on the Y effects place. – Unsigned comment added by 76.164.80.146 (talk) at 18:20, 14 November 2021 (UTC). It is at 268435456 blocks on the Y axis, meaning that it is impossible to float with Levitation 255. 93.191.112.119 17:15, 24 February 2025 (UTC)

Question

[edit source]
Latest comment: 14 May 20243 comments2 people in discussion

So I have seen many a monolith, large and small, up and down, but one thing confused me. I have two different consoles, an Xbox One and a PS4. So I loaded the seed in one of the images on each one and these were my results.

The seed is 3206813721457726856, and the coords are 2812358, 356, 92634.

On the Xbox, I got the expected result from the picture, that being the giant hole exposing the ancient city and aquifer, but on the PS4, the ancient city still generated, but the monolith generated going up toward y=250 instead of down to bedrock. Is this like, a platform thing where it changes depending on the platform, or is this something different?

Also proud mention I found a group of 10 monoliths all within 6,000,000 square blocks, with x ranging between 2817000 and 2820000, and z ranging from 0 to 2000. Nectapeton (talk) 16:14, 27 December 2023 (UTC)

Update. I have confirmed that this is the same for all other monoliths. Nectapeton (talk) 21:23, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
It actually generates the same on Xbox, PC and Mobile
On Nintendo Switch everything actually is normal
on PS4 and PS5 monoliths generate 2A02:8109:3EBF:D6AA:E9D3:FF49:4331:33AF 18:18, 14 May 2024 (UTC)

At the catgory "Major effect" at X/Z ±8,388,608 there is "The world starts to generate incorrectly", what does this mean? 2A02:8109:3EBF:D6AA:A10C:34EA:BD30:67B2 19:15, 28 May 2024 (UTC)

Chunk vibration on high coordinates also affected some MCPE 0.14.x releases

[edit source]
Latest comment: 2 June 20241 comment1 person in discussion

I remember that in MCPE version 0.14.2 there was an issue similar to the chunk vibration issue of MCPE 0.9.x. (I played this version back in 2017 so this may be hard to remember properly). This didn't affect MCPE 0.14.0 and it may have been fixed in 0.15. Should this information be added to this article? 146.70.82.136 17:01, 2 June 2024 (UTC)

So the diagram at the top of the page has the same color for 0 x and 2^25~2^26 z as 2^24-2^25 x and 2^25~2^26 z. Even though the intersection of the slice lands on the x and the normal world on the z axis looks different that the intersection of the slice lands on the x axis and the stripe lands on the z axis. An image of this is attached, read image description for more info. If a better photo is needed to put in the gallery, I have the world file where I spent 10 hours spamming fireworks with an elytra on through the stripe lands, and can load the world where I am still there to take a better image. I am wondering If this phenomena should be mentioned in the article.

teleporting to y -30000000 moves you

Latest comment: 28 August 20241 comment1 person in discussion

When I teleported down to Y = -30000000 (it doesn't work with positive) I noticed that I was moving in the positive x and z coordinates, and I don't see anything about it on the page. NmbrblcksFan (talk) 21:40, 28 August 2024 (UTC)

Flying with elytra + fireworks cannot stop to move

Why player can't be fly with elytra and fireworks stop to move? 2404:C0:2520:0:0:0:DC5D:9230 00:55, 22 December 2024 (UTC)

Player can't move but fireworks can't be moved 4 block or beyond and fireworks with flight duration 3 this stop duration 3 is fast than 1 thrown Trident, wind charged, arrow. But, either skull, snow ball, egg, fireball can't be moved 2404:C0:2520:0:0:0:DC5D:9230 00:59, 22 December 2024 (UTC)

Sorry for Bad english Editor 1 (talk) 22:17, 17 June 2025 (UTC)

Im not 100% sure on this, but I think generally, pages are only protected when they are repeatedly vandalized by multiple people in a short span of time. What happened earlier was just one person

"Distance effect classes"

[edit source]
Latest comment: 18 July 20254 comments3 people in discussion

Are the distance effect classes needed? I don't think it was discussed, and the article is supposed to be changed to be organized like Java Edition distance effects. The distance effect classes aren't on the page. The page doesn't even have tables. 👁 Image

There should be proof of post-32-bit-limit effects, especially for the powers of 10, as why would anything happen there instead of a power of 2.

Where is the coordinate slicing? Is there style guide violation or something wrong that removed it?

--FeedbackBot 22:38, 26 December 2025 (UTC)
Coordinate slicing isn't a distance effect on it's own, except when it actually pushes entities to other places (idk much about this either). All those numbers seemed pretty useless to me so I removed them, if someone finds them useful please discuss it here. MinecraftBedrockPlayer7 (talk) (contribs) 👁 Image

Inaccessible effects on the Y axis

[edit source]
Latest comment: 22 March4 comments2 people in discussion

Are you allowed to add effects that would occur on the Y axis but can't be seen due to the height limits? PenguarigonBrix (talk) 20:00, 21 March 2026 (UTC)

As long as they're accessible without modifying the game or using third-party content. I'm not sure about things accessible only through regular add-ons. MinecraftBedrockPlayer7 (talk) (contribs) 👁 Image

Such as block rendering glitches, the Stripe Lands or hitbox glitches on the Y axis. PenguarigonBrix (talk) 16:07, 22 March 2026 (UTC)
The maximum values for the build height are -512—512 so no distance effects are available without unofficial modding, which we can't add to the page. So no. MinecraftBedrockPlayer7 (talk) (contribs) 👁 Image
