The wind charge can be returned to the sender like a ghast fireball

- So far while testing, I have seen no evidence that, even if the charge hits the breeze, it will be affected. Either way, perhaps this would be more suited to Talk:Wind Charge | 07:17, 23 November 2023 (UTC)
- Update: I just noticed this feature has already been documented on the Wind Charge page. cph101TalkContribs 18:42, 23 November 2023 (UTC)

- Also, if the mobs above attacked a breeze, the breeze will not attack back too 2401:7000:DBF4:5301:7992:ACC:5DBD:4EA6 08:05, 8 June 2024 (UTC)
The current Breeze image formatting doesn't work on my computer. Could someome please convert it to GIF format like most other pages have? I tried, but the format converter won't load. Pretty sure this is a problem for all mac users.

- GIF doesn't support translucency so we can't use GIF for the breeze. If I remember correctly something prevented APNG from being used, but I don't remember exactly what, maybe Pneuma01 could comment on that since they uploaded the files. - Harristic / Talk 👁 Image

- I think APNG is a better format with transparency. However, in MediaWiki, APNG does not animate thumbnails. MediaWiki is designed to convert images into thumbnails, it is not possible to distinguish between PNG and APNG. Pneuma01 (talk) 15:38, 11 July 2024 (UTC)
I have observed breezes jumping either high up or several blocks to the side. Can someone confirm this and test it on Java edition? (By the way, I'm unsure if my recent edits to this page, can someone more experienced check them?) -~- Nerdyguy2000 Talk Edits 01:34, 17 September 2024 (UTC)
- Your edits looked pretty good to me, but I did some minor wordsmithing. Sorry, I don't play Java Edition. ~Anachronist (talk) 03:17, 17 September 2024 (UTC)
- It's okay (although I never knew that). I'm still doing some confirmation on Bedrock. -~- Nerdyguy2000 Talk Edits 14:56, 17 September 2024 (UTC)
add the information that how breezes now have the same animation as bedrock edition's in the history section. KorayTehGOAT (talk) 11:00, 11 October 2024 (UTC)

The Java Edition of the Breeze's animation has been updated to match Bedrock's faster animation according to MC-269851 in Java Edition 1.21.2 Pre-Release 2. However, no mention of texture change has been stated. 👁 Image

- That is inconsistent with other mob pages, which do not mention this in the infobox, nor in their respective Behavior sections. BDJP (t|c) 22:38, 9 September 2025 (UTC)
The distance at which it fires wind charges (16 blocks) is listed, but the “Attributes” page says that (on Java) they track targets from 24 blocks away. This seems inconsistent. I’ll test the track distance for Bedrock, but could someone add the track distance in addition to the shooting distance? DKRap064 (talk) 02:46, 29 September 2025 (UTC)
- I think it means that the breeze will start moving towards the player at 24 blocks, but only start firing at 16 blocks. --MinecraftExp123(talk|contribs) 03:50, 29 September 2025 (UTC)
