Any mixture of regular, cracked, mossy, and chiseled stone bricks can be used to make stone bricks stairs and stone bricks slabs.

As of Version 1.14, this does not appear to be true, at least in the Java version. Let's check this, and see if the wiki needs an edit?

I've removed that line, and it shouldn't really have been there in the first place. – Nixinova 👁 Image

Smooth Stone Bricks

Do Smooth Stone Bricks really need to be featured so prominently on the page? It's just a duplicate blockstate in Bedrock accessible via commands. Probably should be removed from top description and the infobox, and just mentioned further down in the article. Thoughts? Hydroquake (talk) 18:58, 30 October 2023 (UTC)

Support - There isn't much about it, it can be mentioned later. The only reason I'm hesitant to implement this myself is because others might have different opinions. --ThatOneWolf (talk|contribs) 19:01, 30 October 2023 (UTC)

Support I was thinking about that a few minutes ago haha, it's just some weird bedrock quirk (similar to stuff like "chiseled purpur") that really doesn't deserve the spotlight and it's just confusing to most readers.--Capopanzo (talk | contribs) 19:02, 30 October 2023 (UTC)
I thought there was another block like this! I couldn't remember what it was though. I thought it was Quartz Block at first Hydroquake (talk) 23:10, 30 October 2023 (UTC)

It's already mentioned in the trivia section, that's the only place it needs to be. --ThatOneWolf (talk|contribs) 19:07, 30 October 2023 (UTC)
Done, will do the same on purpur block.--Capopanzo (talk | contribs) 19:08, 30 October 2023 (UTC)
Sounds good, thanks! Hydroquake (talk) 23:10, 30 October 2023 (UTC)

haha very funny who put cobblestone as a thing that can make stone bricks?

--FeedbackBot 05:14, 10 May 2026 (UTC)
The article is correct, you may put cobblestone in a stonecutter to create stone bricks. Re-added. TheCaptainYaya (talk) 05:28, 10 May 2026 (UTC)
On further inspection, this appears to be a BE only feature. However, I'm unsure how this tag may be added with the current setup. TheCaptainYaya (talk) 05:31, 10 May 2026 (UTC)

Also only spawns in Overworld Ruined Portals.

I don't believe this is true. TheCaptainYaya (talk) 08:14, 10 May 2026 (UTC)
Obviously they don't spawn in the nether ones, those use blackstone. - Harri / Talk 👁 Image

My mistake, I thought they meant that's the only structure they spawn in at all. TheCaptainYaya (talk) 12:56, 10 May 2026 (UTC)
