It's now been removed (clear browser cache and refresh if it's still there for you at this point in time). Perhaps accidental release? We might see it later on in the day is what I'm assuming. 73.237.244.10605:39, 1 April 2025 (UTC)
I am guessing it was added to the website too early similar to how the creaking and the pale garden was accidentally revealed before Minecraft Live happened. 245e (talk) 13:48, 1 April 2025 (UTC)
That doesn't really make sense. It's already April 1st, and even if it was March 31st, companies tend to release their April 1st jokes a day early for the other time zones anyways. It's even happened in the past for Minecraft. Milo359 (talk) 16:19, 1 April 2025 (UTC)
I found the answer to this, for people who already tried disabling ad blocking and tracking protection, this is probably because they rejected cookies on Minecraft.net. Added to the article. Grzesiek11 (talk) 01:28, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
No, it just relies on a tracking system by Microsoft that gets disabled if you reject cookies + is blocked by at least uBlock₀ and the Firefox strict tracking protection. This is now part of the article. Grzesiek11 (talk) 01:30, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
Is it over at this point? I've tried safari and chrome, made sure cookies are enabled on both, tried with and without a vpn to the US, ensured all possible ad blockers/redirect blockers/pop-up blockers are off for both safari and chrome. I've even tried just changing the date and time on my computer to be earlier. Still can't see it. 139.80.253.003:24, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
It's not really about Minecraft, just the Discord server. We'd also have to backtrack to every single year, like how (I don't think anyone still remembers this) they banned the word "chicken" in the server from Apr 01-06 for "Cluck cluck! April Fools!" via Discord's automod back in 2023. — 3A | TC14:36, 2 April 2025 (UTC)
2025 Launcher skill level may be able to go over 9001
Latest comment: 4 April 20251 comment1 person in discussion
The wiki page states for the 2025 launcher joke that it is not possible to go over 9001 because it would automatically roll back to 0, but I cannot reproduce that behavior on Ubuntu 24.04, because - as seen in the image on the right - a skill larger than 9001 can be obtained.

Was thinking about uploading the missing AF2018 items (I dont know how to do that with block renders) they could be added to Java Edition texture version history under "April 1, 2018" linking to this page here Daliusite (talk) 18:25, 24 May 2025 (UTC)

In the 2024 section, there is the following statement:
(consuming a potato gives you 1500 score[?])
I'd like to rewrite this to be more encyclopedic, but I'm not sure what this statement is trying to communicate. NutronStar45 (T/C) 16:20, 19 June 2026 (UTC)
From what I understand, you're talking about the score that appears on the death screen. Possibly clicking on a potato meant eating it and giving you 1500 points, which were shown when you died. The issue is that there are possibly other ways to score points, given that the screenshot below shows 6800 points, which isn't a multiple of 1500. In other words, the potato's score isn't always 1500, or something else scores points. Aloi4 (talk) 20:39, 19 June 2026 (UTC)
Another strange thing is that the lowest possible score would be to die by eating the minimum number of potatoes, meaning each player loses 2 hearts. That would be 5 potatoes, totaling 7500 points. Aloi4 (talk) 20:43, 19 June 2026 (UTC)
