Overall, under the memorandum on financing the restoration of energy infrastructure, banks provided funding for projects in 21 regions of Ukraine totaling UAH 36.6 billion. This included nearly 3,000 loans to businesses totaling UAH 34 billion and more than 14,000 loans to households totaling UAH 2.6 billion.

Taking into account previously announced data, business financing increased by 3.3%, or UAH 1.1 billion, in January, while financing to households grew by 8.3%, or UAH 0.2 billion.

According to the regulator, the gross loan portfolio for energy projects, taking repayments into account, increased by UAH 0.8 billion, or 3.4%, to UAH 24.2 billion for legal entities in January, while in the retail segment it rose by UAH 0.2 billion, or 10.5%, to UAH 2.1 billion.
