This article is about golems in Minecraft Legends. For golems in general, see Golem (disambiguation).

Overview

[edit | edit source]

The golems are the first mobs used to fight the piglins in Minecraft Legends. The two original golems were the plank golem and the cobblestone golem. They are created using spawners and each serve different purposes. The next two golems are the Grindstone golem and the Mossy golem.

The Firsts are a kind of golem that require a special improvement to be built. In the campaign, there is one of each, which are found in different biomes across the world and must be rebuilt:

In versus mode, spawners for each of them can be built like for other mobs.

Appearance

[edit | edit source]

The golems are blocky with arms and legs, usually having dark eyes and a face. They resemble the different materials they are made of. The regular golems are quite small, about half of the player's size. The Firsts are much larger and they are the largest allies of the player.

They were created by Knowledge to help the hosts when they were building the overworld. Knowledge also creates the mossy golem and the grindstone golem specifically to help the player defeat the piglins. While we know the purpose of most of them, the cobblestone golem and plank golem have no known purpose.

Strangely, none of these golems are in Minecraft or any different Minecraft game as they are exclusive to Minecraft Legends. No golems from any other game have been featured in Minecraft Legends, either.
