A clanger, also referred to in the journal as a disruptor, is a piglin type that attacks by slamming two cymbals together within Minecraft Legends.

Appearance

[edit | edit source]

Horde of the Bastion

[edit | edit source]

The clangers of the Horde of the Bastion are tall piglins with white eyes that turn red at night and cinnamon-clay-colored skin that is covered in sores. Their foreheads are covered with black-cherry-colored masks and wear a fin made out of presumably netherite. In place of their ears on each side of the head are two tusks connected by presumably netherite. Their noses are pierced by a gold nose ring. They wield a gold cymbal on each hand.

Horde of the Hunt

[edit | edit source]

The clangers of the Horde of the Hunt are tall piglins with white eyes that turn red at night and dusky-plum-colored skin that is covered in sores. Their foreheads are covered with black-cherry-colored masks and wear a fin made out of presumably netherite. In place of their ears on each side of the head are two tusks connected by presumably netherite. Their noses are pierced by a bone nose ring. They wield a bone cymbal on each hand.

Horde of the Spore

[edit | edit source]

The clangers of the Horde of the Spore are tall piglins with white eyes that turn red at night and silk-colored skin that is covered in sores. Their foreheads are covered black-cherry-colored masks and wear a fin made out of bandages and warped fungi and are clothed in sage-khaki-colored bandages and mulberry-colored skirts. In place of their ears on each side of the head are two tusks connected by bandages with warped fungi. Their noses are pierced by a bandaged nose ring with warped fungi. They wield a bandaged cymbal with warped fungi on each hand.

Spawning

[edit | edit source]

Clangers can spawn in medium tier or higher piglin bases of every piglin horde and are spawned by piglin pits and Nether Portals. They can also spawn in groups with other piglins in every biome except for the Fatelands.

Drops

Behavior

[edit | edit source]

Clangers are hostile to all non-piglin mobs and the player and will attempt to attack them. When clangers are not attempting to attack, they will idle and wander aimlessly in the piglin base they are located in.

Attacks

[edit | edit source]
  • Cymbal Stun

Clangers have one type of attack, in which they slam their two cymbals together and create a large blast of sound. This attack deals very low damage, but stuns mobs caught in its radius.

Piglins

Defeating a clanger

"These piglins stand out from the horde with their tall stature and their enthusiasm for playing their crude instruments. The powerful sounds they emit at close range are strong enough to stun nearby units for a long duration. Disruptors don't deal any damage on their own, so they're dependent on the rest of their piglin buddies to do the clean up work. Disruptors can be countered by direct player attacks or by attacking them being their range."
