A witch is an allied unit in Minecraft Legends.

Certain events must occur to unlock the ability to spawn witches and command them with the Banner of Courage. In the Campaign, the ability to spawn witches at witch huts is only unlocked once the village the witch hut is in has been protected from a piglin attack. In Versus Mode, witches can only be spawned at witch huts during periodic five minute intervals.

Witches are passive to the player and all other passive mobs, but are hostile to all enemy units. In the Campaign, witches cannot be rallied until they have been unlocked by freeing a village from a piglin attack. When rallied by the player witches will always follow them unless they become focused on attack an enemy unit or structure.

Witches attack by throwing potions that deal splash damage and knockback, temporarily poisoning the target.

Cauldrons increase the knockback dealt by witch potions. The damage increase that cauldrons provide to all allied units is also more effective on witches.

Witches have one basic potion throwing attack. Potion attacks apply poison to enemies, which deals 0.75 damage every 0.5 seconds and lasts for 3 seconds.

Witches can be dealt more or less damage depending on the type of damage inflicted.
