A lava launcher is a piglin of the Horde of the Spore within Minecraft Legends.
Lava launchers are elephant-like hoglins with silk-colored skin that is covered in sores, the sores extending to the sage-khaki-colored bandages covering their feet. They have a vertical, rectangular head and wear a mulberry-colored helmet that extends beyond the forehead between their white eyes, which are outlined in mulberry purple and glow red at night. A warped vegetation, including cyan vines, warped fungi and warped roots, grows on the helmet. The lava launchers have a pair of tusks, one tipped with bandages and the other having the tip curved into an L. A berry-colored, fungi-smeared cloth covers their backs, topped by an incomplete, rectangular magma cube cannon made of rusted netherite. The cannon is handled by a disarmed Horde of the Spore mace runt riding them and wielding a netherite rod. Two spongy, mulberry-purple spore blocks appear on the sides of lava launchers, creating smears on their base.
Hidden inside the lava launchers contain chests made out of netherite inside one of the big spores on their left side.
Lava launchers occasionally spawn in medium tier or higher Horde of the Spore piglin bases in groups of 1-2 and in the Night Beacon base. Lava launchers also spawn in the zombie homestead when it is first occupied.
Lava launchers, on death, drop:
Lava launchers are hostile to all non-piglin mobs and the player and will attempt to attack them. When lava launchers are not attempting to attack, they will idle and wander aimlessly in the piglin base they are located in.
Lava launchers have a large cannon on their back with a magma cube inside that is operated by a piglin runt. They use this cannon to launch magma at their enemies.
