In Bedrock Edition these can now be used to repair iron golems (as of 1.18.10 I believe), so I would like this fixed. I don't have an account... so I can't... sorry.
Goat Horns are in Java Edition 1.19 can anyone add upcoming java 1.19. I don't have an account.
Sculk seems to be missing.
"Mangrove Boat" is missing from 22w11a in the History Section
Some items, notably items that create entities (such as minecarts, armor stands and boats), are completely missing from the history section for earlier versions of Java Edition. However, items that spawn entities that were added in later Java Versions (such as Mangrove Boat, Cherry Boat and the Boat with Chest varirants) are present, even though they wouldn't have counted previously. Additionally, some items, such as Armor Stand, are present under the Bedrock headings but not the Java headings. If it is still the intention to omit items which create entities, a note on this should be written above the table and inconsistencies should be fixed, otherwise these missing items should be added.
What makes something an item vs a block if it doesn't have a clear block-style inventory icon? There seems to be some inconsistency here. For example, why is redstone considered an item that creates a block when used, whereas a turtle egg is considered a block? Should a turtle egg not be in the same category as redstone in this regard? --2A02:8108:C16:EF00:7CF7:4778:7F45:E112 20:10, 26 November 2024 (UTC)
add new items now because 1.21.4 is here now on December 3rd. KorayTehGOAT (talk) 10:23, 4 December 2024 (UTC)
why are categories such as "Items with use in the world" and "Items with indirect use in the world" separate? This is inconsistent with the blocks page and doesn't make a lot of sense to have. Potato3003 (talk) 21:43, 4 December 2024 (UTC)
Basically what im wondering is if there is a page somewhere on the wiki that categorizes items that are glitches/only obtainable in some updates. Like the infinity+mending bows. Items that were obtainable in one update and can be transferred into modern update but are no longer obtainable. Is there a list of those? Toastghost1543 (talk) 05:57, 9 January 2025 (UTC)
My reasoning for this is that the stick is more common than a diamond pickaxe, and more new players would have this in their inventory. IAmSteve12354 (talk) 22:40, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
It currently says "If an item that does not become a block is dropped, it becomes an entity...".
Why "an item that does not become a block"? As far as I know all items become entities when dropped, whether they are placeable blocks or not. 202.36.179.70 02:45, 20 July 2025 (UTC)
Many sentences still mention only the Item Frame (and its glowing counterpart) but have not yet been updated to mention the shelves.
...as well as in item frames and glow item frames [and shelves].
The only method by which an item can be properly displayed within the game environment is to place it into an item frame [or a shelf].
I can't edit yet as I am still a new user. Marioshouse2010 (talk) 15:08, 30 October 2025 (UTC)
Can you add another part to it to where you know what things are obtainable without the crafting table
Redstone dust 'directly corresponds to a block', right? Somebode (talk) 11:06, 13 March 2026 (UTC)
The list of items under "Items that directly correspond to blocks" contains a lot of those blocks, rather than just items. This was not the case in previous versions of this page. This change has made the distinction between block and item less clear, has made the page less easy to navigate and has made it look bloated.
