In Saransk (Republic of Mordovia), it is planned to build a full-cycle plant for the production of telecommunications and technical fiber. The total cost of the investment project is estimated at 7 billion rubles. Information about the project was published on the RosTender portal, where on March 11, 2026 an auction was announced for the development of design and working documentation for the "Preform Production Plant."
