The assert module provides a set of assertion functions for verifying invariants. The assert.notDeepEqual() function tests deep strict inequality between the actual and the expected parameters. If the condition is true it will not produce an output else an assertion error is raised.
Syntax:
assert.notDeepEqual(actual, expected[, message])
Parameters: This function accepts the following parameters as mentioned above and described below:
Return Value: This function returns assertion error of object type.
Installation of assert module:
npm install assert
npm version assert
Example 1: Filename: index.js
Steps to run the program:
node index.js
Error: AssertionError [ERR_ASSERTION]: Expected "actual" not to be strictly deep-equal to: { a: '5' } at Object.
