This, the Uk's first occurrence, is the only known specimen from Clogau Mine. No other examples have come to light despite extensive studies (National Museum of Wales database).
Whilst confirmed analytically, the occurrence should be treated with caution due Kingsbury's known creative specimen provenancing practices (Ryback et al., 1998). |
