Protection is an effect that decreases the amount of damage the player takes from mobs.

Protection can be gained when using an Iron Hide Amulet. A variation of Protection exists, called Oakwood Armor, which is obtained from drinking Oakwood Brew.

When the player is under the effect of Protection, they receive less damage from mobs for a select amount of time.
