A creeping winter spreads across the land, consuming everything it touches – and at the center of the storm is the Wretched Wraith. The only chance to stop the biting frost is for a hero to face new missions and relentless enemies. Hunt down the source of corruption and discover new armour, weapons, and artifacts!
Creeping Winter is the second paid DLC for Minecraft Dungeons. It was released on September 8, 2020. It is the second and final DLC of the Hero Pass and the second DLC set in the island realms. It includes two regular missions, Frosted Fjord and Lone Fortress, a secret mission, Lost Settlement, and a boss, the Wretched Wraith, found in Lone Fortress.
Creeping Winter is set in an unnamed snowy island. The island contains Frosted Fjord on a river that flows across the majority of the island. The island also contains Lone Fortress and villages dotted around the land. To the north is a large iceberg with Lost Settlement on top. Many spruce trees grow throughout the island. Within certain parts of the river viking-like shipwrecks can be seen in the background. The island is also littered with iron mines.
