Players begin by appearing on a platform in the sky, from which they can descend to capture their first tower. To do this, they must plant a generator in an unoccupied tower. The game revolves around capturing and upgrading towers using generators. All players start with a basic ground generator. From there, they can gradually progress to over 100 generators available at release. Generators can be purchased, stolen, or snatched from rare airdrops. Attacking other players and stealing their generators is a quick way to increase your income. This means that other players will also try to attack your towers, so it's best to fortify and defend them. Raids are time-limited, so strategy and speed are crucial. If a player is a raider, they have only three minutes to enter, repair the generators, and exit. Raiders cannot attack the same base for an hour, giving the tower defender time to strengthen their defenses. A player can favorite one generator to prevent it from being destroyed by others, ensuring they always have a single base. As the player progresses, they will gain personal prestige ranks. Prestige also determines biomes, so the player will move through different biomes.
