Splitscreen is a console-exclusive feature that allows up to four players to play multiplayer on one screen at the same time. It is supported on console versions of Bedrock Edition on local connections and Realms, but not on the featured servers.

. The new player is then prompted to select a user profile in which their progress is saved, and what settings should be used. Vibrant Visuals is disabled on splitscreen and the game will switch to Fancy graphics.

There are two versions of splitscreen for two or three players, "Horizontal Split Screen" and "Vertical Split Screen", both which can be toggled in the video settings. Splitscreen mode shows the gamertag of the respective player in the top-right of the HUD, which can be toggled as well.

If "Multiplayer Game" is enabled in the world settings of the current world, active Xbox Game Pass, Nintendo Switch Online, or PlayStation Plus subscriptions for each user profile are required to join the game. Splitscreen is also available in trial mode on PlayStation.
