KorayTehGOAT, what exactly is the benefit of making every single block a separate page? This seems like a significantly worse option to me, as it forces users to load a new page for every single block instead of just clicking a section, prevents people from scrolling through multiple or all block renders, and in the end it will bloat the wiki's total page count by a lot. - Harristic / Talk 👁 Image

There are currently both this page and the subpages as duplicates. What about changing this page embed the subpages like this:

What about having all of the galleries on the base page but then having the sub-pages be redirects to the section of this page? Then the category can be put on the redirect and your automatic listing is easy while also not creating a bunch of small image-only pages.  Nixinova   T   C   07:51, 29 January 2025 (UTC)

What about keeping galleries in subpages and then transcluding them into this page. Then it'd be possible to embed render history of single block to another page. 👁 Image

The gallery tag can do it, is just that some galleries have the file prefix. This is optional, so you can still use the tag without the prefix and it'll appear the same. -~- Nerdyguy2000   Talk   Edits  16:10, 27 December 2024 (UTC)

Recently, someone has been making all of the galleries collapsed. But they were using the head and foot params of the template instead of {{Collapse|title=(title)|content=(content)}} so this needs to be changed. - 👁 Image

Also the collapsed galleries makes it harder for mobile users to see them because they have to expand the section and then expand the collapsed galleries. - 👁 Image

Shouldnt we combine things like Banners, Concrete, Glazed Terracotta etc because they all get added the same version (usually)

It would make it easier to edit them if they get updated

The page is loading way slower than it used to because of the main templates, and most of them are broken because only part of the page was changed to not have links in headers so far. 👁 Image

The page would already load slow but the main templates made it slower because there are SO MANY TEMPLATES. Maybe we could also merge the page back together but keep subpages, especially ones with barely any changes to the blocks. We could maybe also merge all the blocks by how they are merged on their own page, like merging all the terracotta to Java Edition Block render history/Terracotta. 👁 Image
