A cow is a mob shown to inhabit the Overworld in A Minecraft Movie.

Cows are large, cuboid shaped creatures covered in brown and gray fur. Their head is a near perfect cube, with rectangular horns, pertruding ears, a snout with exposed skin, and large eyebrows. On their bottomside are large, pink udders, with realistic hooves. Covering their body are gray spots, typically taking rectangular or angular shapes, which can vary in design from cow to cow.

When killed, their body is reduced to meat known as beef, which can come in at least two shapes. One is in a red breast shape, while other beef can be much bigger, darker, and have a visible bone, similar to a drumstick.

In Uproar in Midport Village, cows are depicted with a noticeably different design, appearing primarily white with brown spots. Instead of the eyebrows, they possess large eyelids, with brown ears and a larger, primarily pink snout.

Cows are a peaceful creature, depicted mindlessly herded in villages, where they are fed what appears to be wheat. They are also depicted dancing with Steve in Steve's World.
