A llama is an ambivalent animal known for a lack of strong opinions.

Llamas are tall, furry creatures with a prominent neck that appears indistinguishable from the head. Its ears and tail are near perfectly square, while the snout is protruding and slightly rounded, with noticeably large nostrils. Its eyes are cross-eyed, their mouths have crooked teeth, and on their feet are long, gray nails, much like real world llamas.

It is known to come in a variety colors, such as white and brown.

Llamas do not appear to be very provocative or curious creatures, nonchalantly minding their own business.

When Steve first emerged in the Overworld, it would not take long for him to discover blocks, as well as how to build. While he built for the first time, a llama watched him from behind while eating grass.

During the attack on Midport Village, a llama was eating grass, oblivious to the situation. As General Chungus' piglin soldiers rushed towards the town, firing arrows, it turned to face them, startled. By the time they passed, it went back to eating grass like nothing happened.

• Unlike in the original game, where they primarily inhabit biomes such as mountains and savannas, llamas in the movie are seen frolicking in temperate fields.
• In one scene, a wandering trader can be seen with a llama, which is a reference to trader llamas.
  • Another reference is more subtle; the traders have a llama chiseled into their belt buckle.^[1]
• During a promotional event for the film, Jason Momoa wore a hat in the shape of a llama.^[2]
