Emily, also known as Em, was a former gladiator and a competitor in the Builder Games. She became an ally of Jesse near the end of A Journey's End? against the Old Builders.

Emily has a large build and wears the green team’s official uniform, a one-piece tracksuit in lime green and gray. The sleeves of her outfit are heavily torn, leaving her arms exposed. She wears a red and white wristband on her left wrist, along with black shoes. Her hair is short, brown, and styled in pigtails, tied with a purple band.

Emily displays an inconsistent sense of loyalty, having turned against both Jesse and the Old Builders at different points. She even goes so far as to endanger her own teammates. Her behavior is driven by a strong desire to escape the games, prompting her to side with whoever appears most likely to help her achieve that. She shifts between cooperation and hostility toward Jesse and their allies, depending on her current allegiance.

Emily was a farmer from her home Overworld.

• A Journey's End?

• Emily does not appear at all in Hero in Residence, even if she was previously brought to Jesse's world.
  • According to writer Eric Stirpe, she was originally planned to appear in the episode, but her role was cut due to budget limitations.^[1]
• Stirpe also revealed that Emily was expelled from the gladiators after refusing to kill another competitor on the orders of the Old Builders, a detail that was intended to be included in the game, but was ultimately removed for budget reasons.
• When Emily attempts to hand Jesse Tim's armor, she uses a nickname that varies depending on Jesse's gender: "Suspenders" for the male version and "Overalls" for the female.
