Due to BE 1.21.100's bedrock-samples preview branch (on GitHub - here) code not including the new copper tools, weapons, chest and golem, I believe that 1.21.110 (Mojang has to do something about their update numbers for BE โ my guess is that they're waiting for JE 1.21.8, 1.21.9, & 1.22 to go by) will be the release, due to looking at the Chase the Skies patterning. The same thing happened, where nothing but the sound files would show up in the bedrock-samples GitHub. 1.21.100 will be an update for bug fixes, Java parity, and adding copper things as experimental features, if I am correct โ not saying that I am, of course, but I thought it would be helpful. This happened last drop (see Talk:Chase the Skies, section two, by MinecraftBedrockPlayer7), with multiple users agreeing. It may be JE 1.21.8, but it may not. I only know BE update patterns. ๐ Image
PhoenixAsh89 (talk) (contribs) 19:30, 1 July 2025 (UTC)
- The versioning of Minecraft as of late has been rather strange and completely disregards the idea of semantic versioning (this would be releasing as 1.27 if drops actually incremented the major version number like the far smaller Frostburn Update did back in 2016). I agree that 1.21.110 and 1.21.8 are most likely the versions it will release as based on previous update patterns. Sightnado (talk) 20:35, 1 July 2025 (UTC)
- It's just some samples, you know. The devs might wait a while before updating the samples or adding new samples related to the new experimental features. The experimental features were just added, afterall. Also, I think some of the staff might still be on break. Also also, they're probably anouncing these new game drop features super early so that they can build more hype and get more player feedback sooner. Especially the feedback. Since adding new armor and tools is a big deal. We might be waiting a while for the next drop. Or maybe they'll try to get it out sooner to help keep players hyped. -- Simanelix (T|C) 03:47, 2 July 2025 (UTC)
- As of now, the Bedrock Edition 1.21.100 is the version with the fall drop related features, locked behind the experimental toggle. I suggest adding that version to the article with the "experimental" tag, e.g. "Bedrock Edition 1.21.100 (experimental)". We can change the version later when it's definitively confirmed by Mojang. - This update seems to heavily focus on inventory mechanics / management. In fact, last fall's drop also focused on inventory mechanics (by adding bundles). There might even be a pattern to the games drops. But that is just me speculating. But if I were to guess, the Winter Drop will add a new hostile mob and either and a new biome or update a biome vote biome. -- Simanelix (T|C) 20:30, 29 July 2025 (UTC)

Someone mentioned in revision 3053827 that new features might be announced at Minecraft Live. We don't know if new features will be anounced, but I'm pretty sure there is a policy that says any upcoming game drop or update must be covered at Minecraft Live. Meaning they will talk about Fall Drop 2025. Though there are no guarantees on what might be announced. If they really wanted to be cheesy, Mojang could just cover already added content and spend the whole show talking about game design and bug fixes.
And the show now focuses more on the Minecraft franchise as a whole, and with the upcoming Netflix series and potentially another upcoming spinoff, there might not as much time to talk about Minecraft as you would expect. -- Simanelix (T|C) 17:38, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
- They'll probably announce the Winter Drop then and maybe the release date of the Fall Drop, just one week after Minecraft LIVE without new features, like with the previous Minecraft LIVE. MinecraftBedrockPlayer7 (talk) (contribs) ๐ Image

Hi, I previously made an edit about the assumed and expected release time for the Fall Drop, which was soon removed by user @Sightnado for no reason and without explanation, which I think is wrong because what I wrote was completely correct(i wrote this: ...date but it is assumed to be released sometime in fall of 2025.๐); I mean, why would Mojang release what is called the "Fall Drop 2025" in the summer of 2028?๐ค๐คจ:{; what do you think, should it remain removed or not. Amirhosseinta (talk) 13:43, 19 July 2025 (UTC)
- We always need a concrete official source for when the update will release; the name itself isn't enough. See Help:Official sources. For the previous drop we had such a source (a tweet from a developer saying that the planned release date is June), but for the current drop, there's no such information available, to my knowledge. | violine1101 (talk) 13:56, 19 July 2025 (UTC)
- I feel like this drop should be called โRejection Perfectionโ. The reason behind this is that everything so far has been things mojang rejected. (ie. statues, copper golems, copper tool/armor, and shelves) KARATEBROHAM (talk) 18:31, 23 July 2025 (UTC)
- We canโt speculate on names for an update on the Minecraft Wiki. This place is for information not speculation. If you want to speculate, do it on the Minecraft Forums. And Mojang did not reject copper tools/chest. Only the copper golem. And shelves were never rejected from the game, just furniture items (eg. Chairs and Tables; items that can be built using stairs/other build hacks). BUT this place is not for speculation and requests. As for the first comment, speculating release dates are even worse than content, so you canโt just put one manโs speculation in the place where people look for information. People may believe that stuff and we donโt want to spread lies, so refrain from adding it. Just talk about it in Twitter or YouTube. NOT here. And Sightnado had full permission to remove it as you violated this wikiโs guidelines: Rule #4: All information has to be verified and true (something along those lines). Anyway donโt do that againโฆ and have a great day/night! Steve101 (talk) 03:32, 2 August 2025 (UTC)

- I tried making a comment on this before. It looks like it was removed? It was reply to something about a passive mob bc the copper golem is passive.
- Anyways, I'm going to speculate a bit here. The last few drops had the following themes
- So it looks like there might be a bit of a pattern here. Especially considering that Trails & Tales falls into both the new content category and the adventure category, but leans far more heavily towards the new content category, since the Archaeology mechanic is mostly independent of other mechanics.
- I am therefore speculating the fall drop will cover adventure. It will add a hostile mob. And there will be a new biome, or an update to a biome vote biome, or potentially something similar to what the Spring to Life drop got. If it is more like Spring to Life in terms of the biome update, it will probably focus on some new mechanic added as part of the biome update, or it will focus on the new mob. This is heavily based on The Garden Awakens though. It could be very different. The chances of it updating biomes substantially are really high though. -- Simanelix (T|C) 03:22, 30 July 2025 (UTC)

I saw that some people (including @Nesekf) don't agree about the infobox images. There are currently two images (this and this), both showing aspects from the next game drop for each edition. I personally think both should be used in the infobox, we did the same for Chase the Skies. A difference is that Vibrant Visuals hasn't been added in this update, so it's not a necessary feature of the infobox image, but I think that from now on all update pages should have two images, one for each edition, at least until Java has Vibrant Visuals too. This is because Vibrant Visuals is the default graphics mode on most Bedrock devices and the highest graphics mode, and shouldn't images on the wiki have the highest graphics mode? Mojang Studios also uses Vibrant Visuals in update banners, so I don't see why not here. If it's weird to have the infobox image the same as the mainpage banner, I could also make another one of course.
And I don't see "we should use the Java image because it's Java" as a valid argument. MinecraftBedrockPlayer7 (talk) (contribs) ๐ Image
13:39, 6 August 2025 (UTC)
- Keep in mind that I will make a new image for the mainpage banner as soon as the next Bedrock Preview has released with the new copper features, in the same style as the previous banner. MinecraftBedrockPlayer7 (talk) (contribs) ๐ Image
13:41, 6 August 2025 (UTC)
- Should we not be using Java Edition for the banners? I'm pretty sure the only reason the current banner is a Bedrock Edition banner is because no Java Edition development versions for the drop existed yet. Sightnado ( talk | contribs ) 16:13, 6 August 2025 (UTC)

- Actually there are snapshot for Java edition covering third drop of 2025 features.๐ง Amirhosseinta (talk) 17:57, 9 August 2025 (UTC)
- I donโt like bedrock much๐, but i think that a good idea, but while I was exploring page history I saw your image got removed for like hundred times and then added again which means there are lots of oppositions with this image and I am still saying I think itโs a good idea having that BE image in drop page but not info box; I also added both your dark and light version of them to gallery as it was removed for no reason ๐. also donโt compare it with chase the skies game drop as it was the first release of vibrant visuals addition. Amirhosseinta (talk) 17:55, 9 August 2025 (UTC)
- All people that removed it were IP users without a good explanation, and Nesekf who didn't reply here. The reason why they're not in the gallery is because they are in fact unofficial screenshots, and the gallery, as part of the article content, should only include official screenshots (like patch notes banners). We use custom images for the mainpage and infobox, I don't really support the latter though, we should use the official release artwork instead IMO. But if we use custom images, I think we should always have one for Java and one for Bedrock, just because it looks different with the Vibrant Visuals. It's not because Vibrant Visuals is an update feature, it's because some features in the third drop have specific features only for Vibrant Visuals, such as the green lights and the copper golem eyes emitting light, which should really be shown in the infobox. If you look at it from this point, it would even be pointless to have a separate Java image because it has the same features minus some. But I can see why people want one without VV too, so I wont discuss that. MinecraftBedrockPlayer7 (talk) (contribs) ๐ Image
