The term piglin refers to a species of hostile mobs from the Nether led by the Great Hog that plan to invade the Overworld and corrupt it, and are the main antagonists of Minecraft Legends.

Overview

[edit | edit source]

Piglins are hostile NPC-like mobs that are similar to pigs. Piglins come in different sizes, the bulk of their forces are runts, which are small, several others are bigger than runts while their leaders are massive.

Under the leadership of the Great Hog, the piglin society is separated into three different hordes based on their own appearances, units, cultures and strategies for both attack and defense. They each are led by a piglin boss. They are the Horde of the Hunt, led by the Beast, the Horde of the Spore, led by the Devourer, and the Horde of the Bastion, led by the Unbreakable.

This horde has and uses a lot of bones for their outposts. They have the most amount of piglins as they are on the hunt/offensive.

Horde of the Spore

[edit | edit source]

Led by the Devourer, the Horde of the Spore is less fortified than the other Hordes' at their outposts as they don't use walls but they like building their outposts on the high ground. These piglins have and use a lot spores, some even throw spores at their enemies.

Horde of the Bastion

[edit | edit source]

Led by the Unbreakable, the Horde of the Bastion likes fortifying their outposts with many walls, thus having the most fortified outposts compared to the other two hordes. They are the most technologically advanced horde with many machines.
